Hey this is where you find out how my tanzania stuff is going!

First off thank you for checking this blog thing out and bear with me if it is unorganized for the first while as i have never had a "blog" (is that an abbrevation for something) For about eight months i have been looking to go and volunteer somewhere in Africa and God has put a burden on my heart to go to Tanzania. I know that some of you who are reading this are unsure about Christianity and God and things about faith, but i am not writing this too convince you of what i believe to be true, and as a friend i ask you to keep reading these posts and writing back and telling me how life is with you. I will be working with the PMC (Pentacostal Missionary Church) in Dar es Salaam and the surronding areas under Pastor Mansaja Gervase and his ministry out reaches. The Pentecostal Missionary Church itslef is located at Maili Moja Kibaha about 3O Km from the Tanzania city centre, Dar Es salaam.I will be teaching english as well as working with youth and young adults with computers as well as getting owned when i attempt to play soccer. From what i have read Tazania is beautiful place with thousands of animals, rolling hills, grassy plains, and amazing sunsets, as well as many people needed help. Although i have worked in Tijuanna Mexico for two summers and to some extent have seen with my own eyes the slums and living conditions of those less fortunate than myself, i know i will be blown away by what i will see in Africa. I am planning to go for one year and am currently waiting on my visas papers, which are taking really long. If you would like to find out more about Pastor Gervsase and the PMC there is a website at : http://www.pmc-ministries.com/ Other than that i am wating to get a list too from Pastor G of what i can bring for the kids and other things of that sort.
Have a good holiday season
